Excuses are not an option

Most successful salespeople got that way by not making excuses.

Whoever's the top sales rep in a company got there by not making excuses. Same goes for anyone who runs a multi-million turnover company. Most successful salespeople will feel the same way.

It's okay if things don't pan out the way you hoped and planned. That's life. But putting the blame on others is a different story.

Excuses are only for people who are unwilling to live up to whatever standards they have for themselves. If you're not willing to put in the work, you simply cannot expect to accomplish great things.

Instead of spending your energy complaining and blaming everyone and everything for your failure, look for ways to get the job done. Instead of whining, find solutions. No one likes hearing excuses. Not even you. In the end, results are the only things that matter.
